Preparation
There was no exact preparation for the Bosnian Genocide. However, there was turmoil from different areas seceding from Yugoslavia. It was on April 6, 1992, when Slovenia and Croatia successfully seceded, the Muslims and Croats of Bosnia would become over powered by the Serbs (Black 55). They were not too happy about this so they took actions to secede themselves. On the other side the Serbs thought that if the Muslims become the dominate group they would be hurting, so when the Muslims and Croats try to turn we are ourselves will turn. That is why on the same day the Muslims and Croats took action, the Serbs did the same.
The Serbs had no distinct “hit list” or “death list,” but only the remnants of what lay behind from World War II, that was a reminder of why they were going about the way they were. They wanted the Muslims to know what their ancestors went through. They set up some 677 camps and centers, where they keep their prisoners. At these camps they forced the prisoners into tight, cramped, quarters. In addition, they relentlessly ran the streets and countryside killing just about everyone. There is one account where they brought 200 prisoners to a 100 meter cliff and shot them, letting the remains fall off the cliff. On top of that they had rape camps where they wanted to dilute the Muslim and Croat blood line. However, their two biggest acts where the Siege on Sarajevo, they held for 4 years and the mass graves they made of Muslim and Croat remains (Bosnian Genocide).
