Organization
The organization of genocide is very complex. There is a meaning or a motivation behind the acts. In Bosnia between 1992 and 1995 the Serbs where the aggressor, they were set out to avenge the past acts of the ongoing cycle with the non-Serbs. Since 1054, the two groups have been fighting. The most recent acts where by the Ustasa’s (Croatians) during World War II ( Black 31). They held Serbs in concentration camps in Javenovac and buried the remains in mass graves. When Croatia and Slovenia broke off of Yugoslavia the Serbs were to become the dominating group (Black 17). The Muslims and Croats of Bosnia did not feel safe. They decided to secede themselves. This brought about the Serbs act of violence.
The acts in Bosnia had to have been planned. They had control of 677 concentration camps and centers. To dominate so many camps and centers you have to have plans, things like that do not happen on the fly. The Serbs also had to have preparation to set up the siege of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia, this alone killed many. They also shelled, boomed, and pillaged cities and ran through the streets killing Muslims and Croats (Bosnian Genocide).
